Bonell springs and a coconut mat – the heart of the successful POLLO 80x200 mattress design
The secret of its successful construction lies in the Bonnell springs with a diameter of 2.2 mm. Their distinctive feature is progressive elasticity: a light load on the mattress creates minimal resistance from the springs, while greater pressure increases the repelling force. In addition, the coconut mattress layer enhances the firmness on one side while still maintaining flexibility. Coconut fibre has excellent thermal properties, making it highly effective at wicking away moisture and ensuring breathability. The POLLO mattress is a premium-quality product featuring the innovative use of Bonnell springs – a tried-and-tested solution applied successfully for many years. It is characterised by progressive elasticity springs, while both sides of the mattress are topped with soft, breathable, and resilient foam.
